Why We’re Asking for Your Support

I’m 42 years old, and after years of trying to grow our family, fertility treatments just haven’t worked for us. This journey has been filled with so many highs and lows — moments where hope felt close enough to touch, and moments where it slipped right through our fingers. Each attempt took something out of us, yet somehow also made us stronger.

Through every step of this process, my husband has been my steady place. He’s held my hand in waiting rooms, sat with me through the silence after bad news, and reminded me that we’re still a team, still dreaming, still fighting for the family we want. His support has been the one constant in a journey that has felt anything but predictable.

Now, we’re facing the reality that our path to parenthood may look different than we once imagined. We’re exploring options like donor embryos, advanced reproductive procedures, or even surrogacy — each one carrying a new kind of hope, but also a financial burden that’s incredibly heavy. These costs can be overwhelming, especially after years of investing emotionally, physically, and financially into treatments that didn’t succeed.

We’re fundraising because we still believe in our future family. We still believe in the possibility of holding a child we’ve waited so long for. And we’re asking for help because the financial barriers standing in front of us are bigger than what love and determination can overcome alone.
